John F. Kennedy
John Kennedy may have been young and energetic, but he was also very wise in his decision-making as President. As with Franklin Roosevelt, John Kennedy realized that he needed to unite Americans of all ideologies to help combat against any domestic and foreign crisis. Isolating any portion of the American population would prevent President Kennedy from getting anything done to fulfill his objectives. Due the foreign threat of Communism, President Kennedy did not focus on much on civil rights because it would divide him from the Southerns. Kennedy was savvy enough to not lose support from a section of the population like Franklin Roosevelt.
